I’ve always been drawn to stories from the past. 12 years ago I started researching my family’s history in detail. I now offer to do family history searches for others. Utilizing census records, newspaper articles, and other documents I piece together stories around how our ancestors lived. Often times, how someone died is more readily available than how they lived. I try to provide both. Use the form on the contact page of this website to submit your request for family history research.
There are a lot of great stories out there not related to family history requests. As I find them I will post those as well. If you are a fan of true crime stories look for the True Crime tag for historical murders and how they were investigated.
A few notes
– I will not research anyone who is still living.
– I do not charge a fee for this research. I do it because I enjoy it. I do accept tips via Venmo to help cover the costs of the various subscriptions I need to do this research.
